BEFORE YOU BEGIN

A few helpful answers.

Should I enter deposits or liabilities?

Liabilities, on the dates wages were paid. Do not use tax-deposit dates or amounts.

Who uses Schedule B?

Qualifying semiweekly depositors use this schedule with Form 941. Follow the IRS instructions to determine whether it is required. It is generally not needed when Line 12 is less than $2,500.

What if I have multiple payrolls on one date?

Add each amount with the same pay date. The schedule combines them into that day’s single liability.

Can I choose an impossible date?

No. Dates must exist in the selected year and quarter. Unused or nonexistent day spaces remain blank on the original schedule.

Does the total need to match my return?

Yes. The calculated quarterly total must match Form 941 Line 12 or the applicable corrected total when a schedule is required for Form 941-X.

Are Form 941 and signatures included?

No. The schedule is separate from the related return. Attach it to the properly completed and signed return; Schedule B has no separate signature.

Can this accompany Form 944?

No. Form 944 uses Form 945-A for its applicable annual liability reporting. Schedule B is not an annual substitute.

What does the price include?

$9.99 USD covers one original one-page quarterly schedule, prepared from your entries. Filing, tax payments and the underlying return are separate.
